Arbella: Sharon High School teens simulate potential driving distractions

One second isn’t typically thought of as a long period of time, except for when you’re on the highway going upwards of 55 mph.

Spencer Singer, a 16-year old sophomore at Sharon High School, found this out the hard way; as he looked down at his phone for what seemed like a fraction of an instant, he crashed into a car that swerved in front of him, shattering his windshield and inflicting other damage on the car.
