Greenough, a national public relations firm headquartered in Boston, today announced a partnership with the 2010 Babson College Energy & Environmental Conference, Sustainability in Action. Greenough will promote the event to encourage participation in Babson’s fifth annual forum for education, networking and interactive discussions on actionable sustainability strategies. The conference will take place on Thursday, March 25 at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. “We worked with Greenough for our 2009 event and were impressed by the agency’s track record of success in helping energy and greentech companies tell their stories,” said Don Andes, vice president of marketing, Babson Energy and Environmental Club. Greenough’s guidance and execution will help us raise awareness of this year’s conference to reach a wider audience and bring more organizations and individuals together to discuss sustainability.”
With a keynote from Gary Hirshberg, president and CE-Yo of Stonyfield Farm, the conference will bring together industry leaders, professionals and students to learn about and discuss how to implement sustainable business models that both improve the bottom line and contribute to the greater good of the planet. Tom Ashbrook, host of National Public Radio’s “On Point,” will deliver the closing keynote.
“New England has emerged as a hotbed for energy tech innovation and we welcome the opportunity to help bring key players together in a collaborative environment,” said Phil Greenough, president of Greenough. “Babson had an incredibly successful event last year, and we’re hoping to help generate even more interest for the 2010 conference.”
Sustainability in Action will feature a series of seminars and roundtables, as well as networking opportunities with industry leaders.
