Jamie Parker Joins Greenough As President

Former VP marketing and communications at WGBH, SVP at Arnold, and president of Weber Shandwick to lead organization and launch non-profit practice area Boston, MA, May 29, 2013 -– Greenough today announced that Jamie Parker has joined the agency as president. As the company’s senior leader, Parker will assume overall responsibility for operations and develop a new practice area dedicated to serving mission-based, non-profit organizations. In addition, Jamie will bolster the firm’s capabilities across the marketing spectrum to better support clients looking for fully integrated programs.

Parker joins Greenough from WGBH, where as vice president of marketing and communications, she led the division that encompasses WGBH's corporate communications, local and national promotion and marketing, branding and visual communications, advertising and on-air promotion, and audience research for such iconic series as Masterpiece, NOVA, Frontline, Antiques Roadshow and American Experience. Prior to WGBH, Jamie was senior vice president of brand communications at Arnold Worldwide, where she developed new communications platforms based on the agency's creative campaigns. Prior to Arnold, Jamie was with Weber Shandwick for 10 years, including five as president of Weber Shandwick Cambridge and the firm's technology practice.

Parker will also continue to lead marketing efforts with her WGBH colleagues for the Boston Globe/WGBH Summer Arts Weekend (presented by Citizen's Bank). Parker has served a number of organizations as a consultant, board or committee member, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Science, the Celebrity Series of Boston, the University of Massachusetts Boston, Hamilton College, the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, Mount Auburn Hospital, the Ad Club's Women's Leadership Committee, Ploughshares and Artists for Humanity.
